The primary objective of the event is to build capacity
and expertise of CEE NGOs. The interrelation between combating
climate change and conserving biodiversity is the special
focus, with the aim of finding multiple win solutions, which
are beneficial for the climate, for the society and for biodiversity.
Besides, our objective is to strengthen public participation
in the Central and East European (CEE) region in climate change
and nature conservation activities, in order to assure dissemination
of relevant information towards national decision makers,
as well as common representation of interests towards the
European Commission. Therefore, project planning is an important
part of the meeting.
The location of the meeting is a beautiful part of the Carpathians,
which is an inspiring environment for our discussions.
