Maeve Ewing

Intern (EU Budget)

Maeve has always cared for the environment and biodiversity due to growing up in the Peak District, being surrounded by the beauty of nature. She is particularly interested in political sociology and international relations, as well as in ethics and in how this field can be pragmatically applied to politics.

She is currently in her second year of studies to attain a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (University of Oxford, UK). She is fluent in English and German.

At CEEweb, she is working as an intern in the Towards a Carbon Neutral EU project, focusing on the EU Budget and how it relates to environmental goals.

Maeve has a keen interest in sports — especially rowing, rugby and running. In her spare time, she sings and plays the guitar. She is also a proud Irish citizen!
